Welcome to SFDAV

The Society of Folk & Decorative Artists of Victoria is a group of folk and decorative artists who meet every month on the 4th Sunday excluding December and January.  We're happy and excited to report that with Covid restrictions easing, we are able to resume our meetings and workshops for 2021.

Our Mission is to create a sharing and caring Society where decorative painters of all levels, abilities and ages come together to share a mutual love of Folk and Decorative Art.

For the months of February, April, June, August, & October each year, a guest speaker or event will follow the general meeting.  For the opposite months of March, May, July, September & November, workshop/s are held by visiting or member tutors.

Very enjoyable workshop 23rd May 2021 with Mandy Sedgewick teaching us the Debbie Cotton design "The Beach". See our workshop page for upcoming workshops.

NEWS SUMMARY

We're having a little COVID lockdown at present but we are hopeful that we will be able to attend our next meeting on Sunday 27 June. We're also very happy to announce that Carolyn Ballantine will be teaching our workshop on 25 July. See the workshop page for details. (It is important that we use the government QR code and or/sign in each time we use H.V. Jones Hall.)
