Welcome to SFDAV

The Society of Folk & Decorative Artists of Victoria is a group of folk and decorative artists who meet every month on the 4th Sunday excluding December and January.

Our Mission is to create a sharing and caring Society where decorative painters of all levels, abilities and ages come together to share a mutual love of Folk and Decorative Art.

For the months of February, April, June, August, & October each year, a guest speaker or event will follow the general meeting. For the opposite months of March, May, July, September & November, workshop/s are held by visiting or member tutors.

At the 25th February's General meeting the members painted many memory boxed to donate to the dementia wards in various Aged Care centres. Next month is Rachel Baker's watercolour shells (see workshop tab for more information). It would be wonderful to see many people at this workshop.

NEWS SUMMARY

Thank you to Gai Cambie who donate some woodwork pieces to SFDAV. We hope to use them in the near future.
